We follow the CanGym program developed by Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique. Girls and boys learn the basics of skills & drills on vault, floor, bars, beam, tramp & conditioning. Children earn ribbons as they progress through levels. There are 12 levels & ribbons - burgundy, red, tan, bronze, purple, blue, turquoise, silver, orange, yellow, green and gold. The gymnast has completed a ribbon when he/she has "mastered" each skill in that level. Some ribbons may take only one session to complete, while some may require multiple sessions. We offer co-ed classes, boys only classes as well as home-school classes.

Aerials Gym Club has an open door viewing policy. Observers are welcome to watch at all times from the upstairs viewing area. Parents are not allowed in the gym at any time due to insurance policies and safety issues. Please refrain from taking pictures in the gym. Remember to remove your shoes in the boot room AND use the boot rack before going up to the viewing area. Please ensure all children in the viewing room are supervised and remind them there is no running upstairs.
The Discipline Procedure is in place to ensure the safety of all participants. It will follow three steps if necessary.
STEP 1 – Coach will ask the gymnast to change their inappropriate behavior.
STEP 2 – If the gymnast has not changed their behavior, they will be asked to sit out for a short period of time.
STEP 3 – If the behavior still persists, the gymnast will be asked to sit out the remainder of the class, and the parents will be phoned.
If the behavior problem occurs often, the coach will meet with the parents to decide on a viable solution.
If a parent has a question or a concern, please talk to your child’s coach first. If the coach cannot help, please contact Cat Fontaine, Recreational Coordinator at 780-962-2949.
